TEAM BUILDING

"You cannot teach a man anything; you can only help him find it within himself."

                                                     Galileo

“A team is more than a collection of people.

It is a process of give and take.”

Blaise Pascal

An increasing phenomenon all around the world,  the Team Building programs have become a common thing in most organizations -  either at the department or company level,  with a frequency of at least once per year. The locations where the events are held induces different behaviors of the participants and certainly original ways of thinking and solving the problems.

TEAM BUILDING = DISCOVERING HOW PEOPLE THINK AND WORK TOGETHER

·       To have a dynamic report between team members

·       To create the context for a good communication

·       To stimulate the creativity

·     To discover new ways to cope with the everyday challenges

·       To identify and solve hidden problems

·      To realize individual differences and strengths of each team member

·       To learn to trust the others

·       To face the change and adapt it to the benefit of the company

·       To reinforce the team spirit and motivation

·       To learn and have fun in the same time

A FEW WORDS ABOUT THE TRAINER

Just like the well known skiing Decalogue, there is also a list with the things the trainers should do. We tried and managed (at least until now) to respect it:

·      To verify the place where the Team Building session will be held

·      To avoid being late, and, very important, to end on time the event

·      To hear instead of speaking

·      To respect the breaks

·     To be able to laugh at ourselves when unforeseen things occur (it will always happen)

·      To give clear instructions

·      To smile

·      To involve the participants in all activities

·       To have the capacity to “read” the audience, and, in accordance, to change the strategy and the rhythm

·       And, the last, but not the least: to be natural and to show the glimmer of passion
