    Trust  and  respect  are  the  main  ingredients for  the  team  relationship,  while  in  the  groups trust  can  be  found only in the sub-groups (cliques).

    Team members work together to achieve the agreed and assumed objectives. In a group, the individual agenda will always prevail to any common goal.

    The team members know how to listen, to ask questions and to offer feedback. In a group, the communication will be dominated by louder voices, cross dialogues and useless repetitions.

    Leadership is vital in a team, taking into account that all the members are informal leaders. In a group everything is fuzzy and uncertain, while different personalities fight  to dominate.

    The differences between the individuals are valued and respected because this is the synergy source. In a group, the differences are considered as threats, leading to stress and negative emotions.

    Within a team, being responsible means assuming failure and the process of learning from it. In a group there is just the search for the guilty person to be punished.

    A team is strongly motivated to find solutions, to develop and to progress. A  group  will never get over the phase of repeating the errors made in the past.

    Within a team, the learning process is interlaced with fun, having as a result strengthen relationship. Any learning lesson is ignored in a group, fun being far more important.
